Job description

Oversee daily manufacturing and fabrication operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.  Coordinate between design, production, machining, welding, quality, stores, and dispatch departments.  Monitor production schedules, manpower utilization, machine loading, and shop-floor productivity.  Ensure compliance with safety standards, welding procedures, and quality requirements.  Improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization.  Review project progress and ensure completion within committed timelines and budgets.  Handle customer coordination related to production status and dispatch schedules.  Maintain inventory control of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.  Implement process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).  Prepare MIS reports related to production, operations, delays, and productivity.
